Survey Says: My Most-Used Survey Panels in 2024

In an earlier post, “Penny for Your Thoughts: Turning Spare Time into Spare Change,” I shared how you can earn a little extra cash by answering surveys. Now, I want to give you a personal review of the survey panels I’ve used the most in 2024. These may not be the top picks for everyone, but they’ve been my go-tos for putting extra money in my pocket. Let’s break them down!

MyPoints

MyPoints has become my MVP for paying my $25/month phone bill. How? By earning PayPal cash through surveys and other small tasks! Since January 2024, I’ve redeemed a total of $235—mostly by answering surveys, but also by clicking through emails, doing a little online shopping, and submitting paper receipts (a bit like rebate apps).

One of the biggest perks of MyPoints is their PayPal cash reward option. The reward processing speed is decent too—2-3 business days. It’s not lightning-fast, but hey, it’s quicker than many others out there. Unfortunately, while MyPoints offers the chance to earn points by playing games, my 9th generation iPad and their games are not a match made in heaven. Can’t seem to download them!

Pros:

- PayPal Cash option

- Multiple non-survey ways to earn points

- Over 70 gift cards available for redemption

- Decent reward processing speed (2-3 business days)

- Frequent survey opportunities

- Occasional reward point sales

Cons:

- Limited customer support (as of a couple of months ago, before the website update)

- Can’t download games on my 9th generation iPad*

Ipsos iSay

Next up is Ipsos iSay, which moved into my #2 spot after another panel closed down in early August. While I don’t get as many survey opportunities as with MyPoints, I’ve redeemed $125 in PayPal cash since January 2024. On average, I cash out every 2 months because that’s how long it takes me to earn enough points to reach the $25 PayPal threshold. They don’t overwhelm you with surveys, which can be a plus, but it also means you might not reach your payout goal very quickly.

Another thing to keep in mind: PayPal cash redemptions take 1-3 weeks to process, so make sure to plan ahead if you’re relying on that money for something specific.

Pros:

- PayPal Cash option

- Doesn’t over-push survey opportunities

Cons:

- Slow rewards processing (1-3 weeks)

- Limited selection of rewards

e-Rewards

Last but certainly not least is e-Rewards, my trusty sidekick for gifting. Since January 2024, I’ve redeemed $110 in gift cards through them, and I love using these rewards for gifts or even snagging magazine subscriptions. If you need instant gratification, e-Rewards is where it’s at! Gift card redemptions usually hit my inbox within minutes (and definitely within 24 hours).

However, the downside? No cash options. If you’re after cold hard cash, e-Rewards won’t be your jam. But if you’re down for travel rewards or gift cards, they’ve got some good stuff on offer.

Pros:

- Super-fast gift card redemptions

- Travel rewards (like airline or hotel points)

Cons:

- No cash options

- Small selection of rewards

That wraps up my 2024 survey panel review! These panels have been steady sources of extra income and rewards for me, whether I’m covering my phone bill, saving for a rainy day, or spreading a little gift-giving joy. What about you? Have you tried these panels yet? Let me know which ones have helped you earn some extra bucks! 💸

*Update (August 2025):

Good news! I was able to fix the issue with downloading games on my 9th generation iPad. 🎉 If you’re having similar trouble, make sure your device is up-to-date and has enough storage. That solved it for me! ✅
